Affiliate Membership is our open-access grade for anyone with a genuine interest in learning, metacognition and the work of the Institute. It is ideal for those exploring the field, early in their journey, or who simply wish to connect with our community and support our mission — with no professional experience or formal qualifications required.
Affiliate Membership gives you access to our community, resources and events, and a front-row view of the work of the Institute. It is a simple, accessible first step for anyone who shares our commitment to advancing how people learn.
This grade is right for you if you are:
Someone with a genuine interest in learning, metacognition and the work of the Institute
Early in your career, or exploring the field before committing to a professional grade
A parent, educator, or interested individual who wishes to connect with and support the Institute
Eligibility
Open to all. You will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the field. No formal qualifications or professional experience are required.

None. (Professional post-nominals begin at Associate Member.)
